This is such a wonderful lipstick!
The colour is gorgeous, it makes a statement but it's not too loud/harsh and in your face. I think it's a wearable everyday red, if you were call reds everyday and wearable :) I believe it's yellow undertoned, or maybe neutral, but I think it would still be flattering on cooler fairer/beige skin tones.
Instead of many lipsticks which are dark and either yellow or blue based, I feel this lipstick has quite a lot of white in it, hence it being less dark and harsh than some red lipsticks
I think this would be perfect for younger girls getting into red lipstick because it looks quite youthful, but I think it could definitely suit maturer people too!
In the tube it looks darker and upon swatch it looks pink, but on my lips it looks like a soft red. So it's strange like that, be aware of it in case you may feel deterred from the lipstick.
The TEXTURE is amazing. I love this texture. I love creamy textures, not slippery, thin textures like rimmel moisture moisture renew and maybelline moisture extreme, those lipsticks are just strange! They are moisturing so your lips won't chap and look dry, yet they are too thin in consistency that they sink into the tiniest lines of your lips (which are lines of dryness) and make your lips look dryer and worse than their natural state!
As I was saying, the texture is creamy and gives your lips a smooth textured finished. It's very matte and not shiny! And it's not drying at all! I don't know if I would call it moisturising because I never look for that in products and don't really know how I would look for it, but no one need worry about it drying out your lips! It keeps them soft and supple.
It's beautiful, I hope/look forward to using it as a casual tint when I don't feel like wearing it opaque for casual going out days.

Light, almost fluro matte red. Has good lasting power on me. Discontinued, but managed to get a few back ups quite cheap. One to consider if you find it somewhere.

This is my ultimate favorite lipstick or even lip product! Everytime I wear this shade, I always get compliments! It is really smooth, creamy, doesnt dry out my lips and the staying power is awesome- stays on all day! I also think its perfect for all seasons. This red/ coral/ pink is perfect for my medium gloden skin. Its amazing! I just found out today that it has been discontinued.. Good thing I have 2 back ups. :) If anyone knows a lipsctick similar to this shade, pls let me know for it is simply the best!

Picked this up the other day and have worn it twice. Overall really good and very unique lipstick. Let me start by saying its definitely trendy, both because its extremely matte and a very bright what i would call watermelon like a corally but not light, I haven't found another shade like it actually. It has a retro thing because it so bright and pigmented and very matte, like no shine at all. Because of that it is not really moisturizing but i don't find it drying and i do find it lasts awhile. Its also buildable, even though it goes on pretty pigmented if you keep applying any layering it will get brighter

Granted there are some skin tones that will not be able to rock this color but I don't think it designed solely for pale skin.
I am NC45, the color looks beauuuuuutiful on me, it looked soo nice that I went and got a back up for it.
PS: The color is one of Revlon's limited editions but you can still get them on ebay.
I think it is my favourite lipstick color.
Revlon is definitely kicking a$$, Mac watch out lol

Love this lipstick, very close to Toxic Tale.

Such a lovely color on my Eurasian fair to medium skin tone. In Asia it is priced at around $8, but fortunately I got it as a free gift with purchase. I never have any problems with it drying my lips out as I always slick on some lip balm underneath. I apply it directly from the tube, lightly blot and reapply. The lasting power is insane, even better than my Mac or Dior lipsticks. Tonight I just had a big Chinese dinner and it lasted through the entire feast. It only faded ever so slightly. Amazing!.

I recently saw a shade similar to this in a magazine ad, and with the help from you guys on this website I was able to find this shade.
I purchased it at Ulta for about $4. I don't use lipsticks, but when I find a shade like this I have to have it.
I have only purchased one lipstick from Revlon - Love That Red- and I don't wear it very frquently at all though I like it. After trying this color on I thought it looked very similar to Love That Red, but upon comparison I found that they are very different. The red is much more blue based, while this is more of an red-orange/coral. Suede is the perfect word to describe the texture because it is smooth and matte and looks really nice on lips.
I like the color, it goes great with my light skin (yellowish undertones). It is more of a spring/summer shade, but I don't believe that you have to wear certain colors during certain times of year. I have only stained my lips with this color around the house. Very excited about this shade and hopefully it will get me interested in wearing lipstick more often.
I will repurchase if I need to in the future though I see this one lasting for a while.

I have 5 Revlon Mattes and I've been reading alot about this specific colour here lately so I relaly wanted to try it. I didn't get it before becasue I thought it looked pretty similar to Pink About it but I'm so happy i did because I like this lipstick SOOOOO much more.
I love the neon coralness to it. If you layer this bad boy on you get hte craziest (and by crazy I mean awesome) colour. I like to dab it on adn smudge it around right after I put on lip balm...perfection.
Like all Revlon lipsticks I love the case, the window at the top, sleak bullet, it's a given. Of all the Mattes that I have this is the only one that ISN'T drying, it's creamy and stays that way.
I pretty much want all the Mattes now, especially since there is a new wave of colours coming out, I cannot get enough of these lipsticks right now!

After reviewing the MAC Impassioned I recently tried, thought of the bright pink lipsticks I own...
This is a bright, dark (bordering on red, which some people have called it here, but to me at least it's pink) coral pink. Like Impassioned, it probably works better on people with warmer skin with me. However, I wore it all the time last summer because it perfectly matches the color of a polo shirt I own.
And it is at least more flattering on me than more orange-based corals and somehow not as garish or overpowering of a as Impassioned (perhaps it's darker and more coral...), making it a good choice for those who crave a "watermelon pink" (as someone called Impassioned) but are perhaps not the most suited to it. Yes, this shade actually reminds me more of watermelons than strawberries!
A fun, attention-grabbing color that somehow does not overpower my face.

I love this (: It feels smooth and is easy to apply and you can make the color brighter or bolder, or keep it more toned down if you'd like. It stays on pretty good, and it compliments my light asian skin very nicely. I keep my makeup simple with just mascara & a really thin line of black eyeliner on top so i like to go bold and vibrant for my lips & this is PERFECT! <3 My favorite lipsticks && they are matte.
Just amazing. continued >>

This matte, neon, orangy-red was made for those with light olivey/yellowy skin. It's very flattering. It's bold yet I have no problem wearing it, cause it looks so good. Although I love the shade Really Red, Strawberry Suede is much more wearable.

I really like this lipstick! It's a nice color. I especially like the fact that you can't smell it while wearing it. Glad I bought this.

Strawberry Suede is a very bright light red, reminds me a lot of MAC
Lady Danger. Goes on a tad cooler than it looks in the tube. A great
dramatic runway look, but can be scary in real life. Not for the timid.
But an interesting diversion from the muted pinky-browns of the last
10-15 years. A splash of color amid neutrals like black, greys, white.

This product was a disappointment to me because the color looked so lovely, both on my lips (although it was extremely vivid) and in the tube. Unfortunately, it really sunk into the lines on my lips and just looked... cheap. I'll hang onto it because perhaps someday I'll use a lip primer or something for a special occasion, but it will not reside in my "daily products" makeup bag. Shucks.

SUCH a fun color for Summer and Spring. A super bright coral-y red that's kept looking classy, fresh and modern by the matte finish. The color is really concentrated so I have used my finger to dab it onto my lips as a stain (I've also tried it on cheeks!), looks so fresh and pretty.

The fourth picture is, in my opinion, the best swatch- this is bright bright BRIGHT. And also completely amazing. This was the fourth Revlon matte I've owned- I got the first three in a heavily discounted gift pack, but I just had to pay full price for this.
It's an incredibly vibrant reddish pink, really warm, and sort of hard for me to describe. It goes on lovely as just a little bit of a stain, and is really easy to layer up to your liking- I like to wear it thick and bright. It's so bright and summery and complements my fair skin and dark hair wonderfully.
I am obviously an advocate of the Revlon mattes, and they are very good, although after switching primarily to MAC mattes they don't compare as well. They're reasonably long lasting but don't even almost hold up to food or drinking, they're not hugely drying but still significantly so. So they're not the absolute best matte lipsticks, but probably second best in my eyes.

The blond girl in the picture looked so incredible with this, I had to get it. It's such a warm/bright pink/red. Hard to describe. It's unique and I love it. I'm not sure if I would wear it often since it's a little too red to be used every day for me, but I would definitely wear it on special occasions and occasionally on weekends.

After a few weeks contemplating if I should get this or not I took the plunge and bought it. I love it so much. The color is a bit intimidating at first but it is the perfect brightness for spring/summer. And Revlon does a really good job with their matte formula. Not drying at all.

I LOVE this color and formula! Revlon outdid itself with this fab warm red. It's a pink-coral color, and while other matte formulas dry out my sensitive lips, this product does not. Color endures, and is extremely pretty in the tube and on lips. I wear this to work as well for extra pop of color. One thing I don't like is the packaging; nothing special about it. For a great product such as this, I'd expect Revlon to rev up the tube and make it more pretty :) This lipstick is in my bag at all times, and I plan to keep a couple of other tubes stocked up of this color.
